The trailer for  Godzilla is out! It looks intense, suspenseful and dark. I am definitely looking forward to watching this! Hitting Australian cinemas May 15!

This movie is amazing for all ages! The voice cast is great, consisting of Chris Pratt, Will Arnett, Elizabeth Banks, Will Ferrell, Liam Neeson and the one and only golden voice himself, Morgan Freeman! The character's lips move at the right time, and each of their voices sound exactly like what their appearance suggests. The dialogue is great, filled with hilarious one liners you will remember for a life time, witty comments and pure stupidity. The animations are great, they are so good, they manage to make a world made of Lego look plausible. The plot is simple but funny, Emmett, a regular guy gets thrown on a massive quest with likes of Batman, Wildstyle and Uni-Kitty. The characters each have equal development and screen-time. The movie is great overall. It has a great moral, plus it's probably the best kids movie I've ever seen! 9 out of 10!

When the White House is under siege, John Cale must save the White House and his daughter! Channing Tatum is great in this movie, I don't think that he's been considered for many action hero roles like this, but it's a great thing that he finally was considered for a role like this! His character is a divorced father, who always misses his daughters performances and things like that, he is a bit hot headed and Tatum is used to playing roles like that from previous movies. Jamie Foxx plays President Sawyer, who is, as you guessed, the President. He is great in the role and it is definitely his kind of role. He is the comic relief of the movie, as John Cale is kicking butt, he takes his glasses out, polishes them and then fires the gun! The special effects are below average, there is a scene where helicopters are flying all over the place and they look so fake! The movie is a 100% rip off of Olympus has Fallen, same plot and ideas, one of the scenes is exactly the same! Overall a good cast, good script but bad visuals and highly unoriginal. 6.5 out of 10. It is okay but it could've been better.

2 Guns is about 2 criminals, one is a snitch and the other doesn't know until later in the movie. Obviously, after that they hate one another, but they each have their own personal problems that force them to work together again. Mark Wahlberg plays Stig, a clumsy criminal who always makes jokes at the worst times, not very smart and is highly accurate! Wahlberg usually strikes me as an actor who only fires guns and does action scenes, but never acts. But in this, his character is very strong. Denzel Washington plays the snitch, Bobby. Washington's character is much like Wahlberg but with more intelligence, maturity and logic. Washington is great in the role, there is nothing to say but he suited it perfectly. The special effects are actually more practical than computer generated. If you're wondering what practical effects are, instead of animating an explosion they will actually make it happen, that's only with the small ones,  or instead of animating blood they will set up little things on people and detonate them at the right time so it looks like real blood even though it's just fake stuff they put on their clothes! But I think that practical effects should always be used when possible, rather than animations, they look much more realistic! The script is hilarious, with some weird humour. Like the diner is about to explode and they're talking abou how much to tip the waitress, then they grab a pack of donuts and leave, as soon as they get out, the place blows up! Some peculiar humour there! 8.5 out of 10!

Percy Jackson Sea of Monsters is the sequel to the Lightning Thief. When the camps force field goes down, Percy, Grover, Annabeth and Percy's new found brother, Tyson must sail across the Sea of Monsters to get the Golden Fleece so that they can heal the force field. Logan Lerman reprises his role as Percy Jackson, this time he is even better. Nothing new, just mild improvement. Brandon T Jackson is hard to take seriously in this, he is there mainly for comic relief and when he is being serious, he doesn't do it well. Alexandra Daddario is much better this time around, her hair is blonde like in the books, has a better script and in the first movie she looked a bit too young but now she looks older. The special effects are fantastic, there is some beautiful CG mythical creatures, huge landscapes and lots of water flying around. The script is also much better this time. Overall a massive improvement from the first one. 8 out of 10! The third movie is coming out late 2015!

Percy Jackson and the Lighting Thief is based on the award winning novel by Rick Riordan. When gods have children with human women, or men, the baby is half-god, also known as demi-god, also known as a half-blood. The only place these "Half Bloods" are safe from mythological monsters is at "Camp Half Blood." Percy Jackson just got to the camp and discovered that his father is god of the sea's, "Poseidon. He also discovers that there is war waging between  the gods, and if he doesn't return the "lightning bolt" to Olympus on time, the war will begin and the earth laid waste to. Logan Lerman is a great choice for the role of Percy, he looks the part and obviously knows the character well. Brandon T Jackson plays Grover, Percy's protector. He is average at acting, he looks good as Grover but he just can't act that well. Alexandra Daddario is Annabeth, daughter of Athena. She is perfect for the part and acts decently, not fantastic, but still better than Brandon T Jackson. The visual effects are pretty good, there is one bit where there is water floating everywhere, it looks pretty cool! The script is not good at all, but there is one bit that is just so bad it actually frustrated me. Overall, okay acting, good plot, great visuals but terrible script. The book is much better but the movie is okay, 7.5 out of 10.

Transformers 4, also known as Age of Extinction has it's first trailer! All info is in the trailer below!

Non-Stop is amazing, from plot to special effects. When Air Marshall Bill Marks receives a threatening text message putting passengers on board the plane at risk, he must spring to action, but all goes wrong for Bill. Liam Neeson is simply amazing, he suits the role perfectly and later on in the movie admits to some bad stuff that Liam Neeson's look just suits. His character is kick-butt, but has personal/family problems. I think whoever selected Neeson for the role must have watched the Taken movies because in Taken he is also a kick-butt character with a family/personal problem, a genius bit of casting! The movie has at least 3 or 4 massive plot twists, all of which will amaze you, however I managed to guess two of them before they happened, but that doesn't matter given that there are 2 other amazing twists. You will never be able to guess all 4 of them, that's the beauty of this movie, some people will guess things that others won't, and the things that some people figure out , the other people won't! Highly complicated and inappropriate for kids though. The special effects are great, often in movies you can tell that the aeroplanes are CG, but in this they looked real! Plus there is some great action scenes with some cool ideas such as guns floating in the air for people to grab and use! Overall, fantastic! 10 out of 10!

Jack Ryan is a former soldier who was badly injured in battle and whilst in rehabilitation is offered a job by the CIA. He takes the job, gets a girlfriend and goes under cover. This leads to some great scenes and events. Chris Pine was definitely a good choice for Jack Ryan, however the movie takes place over the course of 10 years and he barely ages! Thats the only problem with this movie. Kevin Costner seems to be making his return, with 3 movies in 2 years, this being the third. He was great in this movie, he definitely suits the spy persona, but other movies have already shown that he's a good spy, but that isn't exactly relevant. He was a great choice and every scene him and his sunglasses were in were very mysterious. He is a great character. The visuals are okay, however you rarely get to see them in use. In fact there so rarely used it's hard to judge them, a minor disappointment, however there is a fantastic looking explosion at the end. Overall, a good plot, average visuals, great acting and a pretty good script. Do not take kids to watch this, not only is it inappropriate but kids won't understand it. 8 out of 10.

X-Men Days of Future Past is going to be released in May and will be based on the comic storyline, Days of Future Past! It involves more mutant versus human conflict and mutant kinds only hope is to prevent any of that from ever happening, so they must get post X-Men First Class Professor X to help them! This definitely looks good!

There has been quite a few trailers for The Amazing Spider-Man 2, but the original is easily the best. There is two easter eggs that most people noticed, when the guy with the hat is walking through the hall, in the background the Vulture's wings and Doc Ocks tentacles are in the background. It is confirmed that there will be a Sinister Six movie. The Sinister Six are a team of Spider-Man villains. There is already 3 confirmed to be in it, plus the Spider-Slayer is confirmed to be in The Amazing Spider-Man 2: Rise of Electro, however he probably won't become Spider Slayer until the very end!

This is going to be great! Without giving any spoilers away, there is going to be a massive plot twist at the end! Released April!

Arrow season 2 is definitely going to be intriguing. It looks like Oliver, Felicity and Diggle got stranded on the island! It's not a flashback! One would predict the 3 of them would encounter Deathstroke given the 180 degree camera rotation around his mask and the dramatic music. This is going to be great! Arrow season 2 premieres October 9 in America which means it could premiere any time from May to July!

Glee star Grant Gustin is playing Barry Allen (Flash) in Arrow season 2. Barry Allen will appear in episode 8 and 9 and then in episode 20 he will become the Flash and that episode will lead to his own TV show which is part of DC's movie universe which features Man of Steel, Man of Steel 2, Arrow   and an untitled movie to release in 2016, there will most likely be a Justice League movie in 2017 as well. Grant Gustin does look a bit young and Chris Pine would've been an excellent choice but he does sort of look like Barry Allen (picture above), DC's started they're cinematic universe well!

Have you ever heard of a thing called Marvel One Shot? Well, if you haven't it's basically a special feature on Marvel movies that you buy (only on Blu-Ray)  which is a 15 minute mini movie based on one of their famous characters. Agent Carter is the women from Captain America The First Avenger, her first name (wasn't Agent, I'm not trying to be Tony Stark to "Agent" Coulson) was Peggy. Don't get confused though, this is set back just after World War II, the conclusion of Captain America. This Marvel One Shot has some thrilling action here people yell funny trash talk at each other, cool gadgets, special effects are great and there is a hilarious cameo at the end.

Buy Iron Man 3 on Blu-Ray to watch this hilarious and action packed Marvel One Shot.

Prepare for a long review, this movie has got such a big cast!

When four street magicians are united, they become the biggest act in Vegas. But when they rob a bank to reward the audience, Agent Rhodes knows something isn't right. Basically the movie is about Agent Rhodes trying to catch them, but the magicians always manage to stay one step ahead. This movie has got three major plot twists, all of which will blow your mind. Jesse Eisenberg plays the lead magician, J. Daniel Atlas. His character is unique, because of he is confident but nerdy and talks really fast. His character kicks a whole load of butt and his fast talking makes the witty humor even funnier then it would've been. Mark Ruffalo plays Agent Rhodes, he is funny because the whole time the magicians are making him look like an idiot. Ruffalo suits this role because he can always act as a vulnerable, yet angry  (Hulk) and confident character. Morgan Freeman acts as Thaddeus Bradley, an ex magician who now makes a living by exposing the tricks magicians do now. Morgan Freeman is always just awesome, he is cool and funny and his script has lots of sarcasm which would only sound good with his voice. Isla Fisher plays Henley Reeves, Daniel Atlas's ex assistant and now a member of his magic group. Her personality is just like any mid 20's girl. Her character is relaxed, lots of fun  and just goes with the flow.  Dave Franco acts as Jack Wilder. Every time he walks in, he is just really cool, the magicians were trying to get in a house and the say "It's locked!" and the Jack Wilder strolls in and he's like "Nothing's ever locked!" and he picks the lock on the door in 2 seconds. Woody Harrelson plays a hypnotist called Merrit Mckinney who hypnotizes people and into helping them escape Agent Rhodes. He doesn't just say attack them, he makes them do funny things I won't say what though. There was one funny bit where the cops barge into his apartment and they say "Freeze!" and he's reading a book and staicks a finger up to indicate that he'[s finishing the page, the he puts the bookmark in, puts his hand up says "Hi!" He is obvious;y there for comic relief, but this movie is comic relief from other action movies like die hard. The final cast member is Michael Caine,  he is Arthur Tressier. You could classify him as the magicians sponsor. He's just got that rich businessman attitude who's like "I'm rich and I'm awesome!" He doesn't say that but he says that more professionally on a TV show. The action varies from chases and races, to hand to hand combat, card throwing and just using magic to fight. The special effects are not the best. They're ok but definitely not the icing on the cake, but you don't come out of the cinema saying the special effects ruined the movie. They're not good or bad. There are just so many twists in it and there is a decent sound track as well. The ending showed that there will definitely be a sequel. The magic tricks are quite spectacular and they each have a little twist to each one. The best tricks are the escapes though. Even though some other movies have been rated lower than this one by me, I still personally prefer a couple of those over these but for what this movie is, I give it 10 out of 10.

Superman Returns is sort of like a reboot because it has a much darker tone however it's set after the old Superman series.

After Superman has been travelling in space looking for remains of his home planet for five years, he has returned. Obviously, everyone is excited. Can Superman stop Lex Luthor's most villainous plan without sacrificing the people that are closest too him? Brandon Routh as Superman is good casting. Sort of anyway. He is a perfect Clark Kent anyway. He looks nerdy and weak, but casting him as Superman wasn't a fantastic. Given that there's more Superman than Clark Kent in this movie it's hard to actually act instead of standing there, being filmed and then watch people make it look like your flying. Even though Clark Kent was hardly in Man of Steel, they cast a good Superman and Clark Kent, not just one, that way it works either way. Kate Bosworth was an interesting choice for Lois Lane, she looks nothing like her. She acts well though. But her character is so predictable though! Kevin Spacey as Lex Luthor was casting almost as good as Heath Ledger as Joker, if that's possible! The script suits him and it just worked. The humour was a good twist to Lex Luthor's character because it was sinister but not evil like Heath Ledger's Joker. The Special effects were pretty good and mayhem in Metropolis really showed that well! This movie has it's goods and bads, but the plot was pretty bad, mainly due to Lex Luthor's plan. Bryan Singer was a good choice for director though.7 out of 10.

You know how Man of Steel 2 will have Batman in it? Well Ben Affleck is confirmed to play Batman! Nobody thought it would be him, but he has proved a good Batman growl in Daredevil, he has the chin, the face and the body. Plus he has black hair with a bit of greys, which is a good thing because WB was aiming for a Batman in his late 30's or early 40's. He is a great actor!  He looks a bit like Christian Bale as well.  Looks like it's going to be good!

Bad news Star Trek fans! J.J Abrams(first picture below) has decided to abandon Star Trek and go to Star Wars to direct episode 7, he works for Disney now, given that LucasFilms is now owned by Disney. The worst bit is who is replacing him, Jon M Chu(second picture below), director of the Justin Bieber documentary and the Step Up series, worst of all G.I Retaliation. Terrible movies. Star Trek 3 is set to release in 2016 while Star Wars episode 7 is set to release in 2015!

Guess what Marvel fans?! Robert Downey Junior has agreed to play Tony Stark for The Avengers 2 and 3. At the end of Iron Man 3, it said Tony Stark would return in The Avengers 2, does this mean the man will return but the machine won't? Stay Tuned!

Remember the Hobbit? Well, a trailer for part 2, better known as the Desolation of Smaug has been released and it has some very Peter Jackson styled action! Looks good! This movie will be released late this year.

Jay Gatsby is a rich man of many secrets, everyone who get's near him gets involved in his many secrets. Leonardo Di Caprio plays Gatsby, he suits the role perfectly. He is a classy actor playing a classy character in a classy film. He suits the role so well that when he smiles at the camera you cant help smiling back! Toby Maguire plays Nic, Gatsby's neighbour. He also suits the role well, he looks and sounds innocent just like his character should. Toby always able to look very confused and that suits the role all too well! Carey Macgillan's character plays a character who is wanted by two people and her acting works in that scenario very well. The casting for this movie was done very well. There are some good special effects but in a movie like this, there's is nothing to use them for, however the fireworks did seem very realistic and the sound effects were pretty good. Baz Lurhman directed this smartly, his screenplay and camera angles were just so much more amusing then regular camera angles. He also blended modern day pop music into the world of the 20's very well and smartly, because the way he used them made them sound like music from back then, in a good way. The soundtrack is great, it has slow pop, fast jazz and great contemporary! Classy, suspenseful and visionally stunning to watch play out. Lots of fun, not for kids though, 9 out of 10.

Thor: The Dark World has it's second trailer. By the looks of things, there is some funny sarcasm, epic battles and great voice over. Also, Tom Hiddleston's Loki is returning... AS A GOOD GUY! This is going to be awesome! Stay tuned for "The Latest News"

Beloved TV show Arrow is making a return on October 9 in the USA which means Australians will get it a couple months later! There is a new sizzle reel! This season looks ten times better than the first, that is if that's possible! It looks like a lot more comic based things are going to happen than the first season! From the start of this trailer, you are hooked! If you read the comics you'll know that by the things that are hinted mean a lot of awesome stuff is going to go down!

Joss Whedon, director of the second most successful movie ever, The Avengers, has confirmed the title of The Avengers 2, it's called The Avengers Age of Ultron! Ultron is an evil robot and the only thing that can stop him is Vision, another robot. Vin Diesel has been having meetings with Marvel about playing Vision! Dwayne Johnson wants to play Luke Cage as well! Check out the pictures below!

When the planet Krypton is at it's doom, it's first natural baby in centuries is put in a space pod and sent to earth. His Kryptonian blood cells absorb the power of earth's yellow sun. With these powers he helps protect the earth by the name "Superman!"  Henry Cavill plays Superman, though in real life he has a strong british accent, he sounds just like Superman from the animated movies! He is great at doing action scenes and can display emotions incredibly! The script for his character is hilarious! Amy Adams is Lois Lane, a reporter who always gets too close to her story, well in this movie that's a bit of an understatement. She is able to show Lois's feelings and humour really well. A great thing about this version of Lois is that she doesn't just get herself into trouble, she helps save the day as well. Rusell Crowe plays Jor-El, Superman's dad. He does stunts, humour, emotions and a robot/AI version of Jor-El spectacularly. He performed better than any actor in any movie! Zack Snyder is amazing. He is one of the best directors around! He created a dark, modern, funny Superman along with a visually beautifully inhabited version of Krypton. People don't say he is a "very visual director" for nothing. His special effects are shown beautifully with explosions, bullets, Kryptonian armour, everything else from Krypton, sonic booms and noises from guns and explosions, but best of all, Superman's CG cape is awesome. When you see some of the special effects you think,"Epic!" you think "That is beautiful!" Chris Nolan Produced this movie, his version of Batman was great, his version of Superman was even better. He did a very good job of thinking how much money to distribute to certain departments of the movie. The script in this was hilarious, at least for a movie this dark. Seriously, this is a dark movie, Superman sinks into a pit of skulls for crying out loud! Everything about this movie is beautiful! 10 out of 10! Seeing such famous events in a movie with this type of cast/crew, style and humour! Let's hope the next Superman movie is this good!

Zack Snyder himself has confirmed that in 2015 he will release a Man of Steel sequel with Batman in it! All information in video below!

Beware, medium level coarse language!

Zack Snyder also said that he planned to make a "Flash" movie in 2016 and a "Justice League" movie in 2017. But how are DC going to make a Justice League movie if they haven't introduced some major characters like Wonder Woman and Aquaman? Obviously the old version of Aquaman is stupid but the new modern version is awesome! Check out the picture.

When a family named the Croods lose their home they have to relocate and survive the end of the world! You'd never guess that the small, skinny Emma Stone could voice big, fat Eep, but her voice actually suits the character! Nicolas Cage, another unexpected voice actor plays Grug, Eep's dad. Again, surprisingly his voice suits the character. It's the same case with Ryan Reynolds, he plays Guy, a person who is brave and has seen things that most people haven't. There mouths also movie perfectly with the dialogue. The animations are great, but now all animated movies look just as good! The script is hilarious, it contains verbal and physical humour for the animators to handle which are done beautifully. Some bits of the movie are really emotional! But the sad problem is solved in  clever way. This movie has some really great messages for children, such as, to "appreciate the simple things in life, especially family" and also "Be curious to learn and to try new things, they might be better then what you're used to." This is an animated masterpiece, simply stunning, 8.5 out of 10.

When the Joe's are attacked, they must find out who was behind the attack and stop them doing anymore damage. Dwayne Johnson's character Roadblock is awesome! He balances acting and stunt acting well, unlike Fast and Furious 6. He is funny, emotional and lethal. Channing Tatum's character is funny but isn't in the movie much. He acts well for the amount of time he was in the movie. Bruce Willis's character is 100% pointless. There is one scene where he pulls out gun racks disguised in every day household items. The script isn't a work of art, but it's good enough. The special effects are good, but it's hard to top todays standard special effects. With a massive cast, massive fan base and  whole lot of action, you'd think it would be fantastic, but it just gets over the "great line." It tries to be a ridiculously over done action packed film and it does that. But it seems like an inappropriate kids movie rather then a standard adult movie, very immature. 6.5 out of 10.

Meet Burt, a magician from Vegas. When another magician, stunt artist actually, becomes more famous Burt becomes less. Burt has no choice but to go to extremes to save his act but only ruins a friendship. Now Burt must achieve greatness over his rival and mend his friendship. Steve Carrell plays Burt, the main character. He is stupid, awkward and clumsy, this makes him a hilarious character. Jim Carrey plays stunt artist Steve Gray who's stunts are hilarious to watch, best of all holding his pee for 12 days! One of the lines was," He has more urine in his system than blood!" Hilarious! His trash talk to Burt is also funny, especially, " Your skin makes me cry!" Olivia Wilde plays Jane, Burt's assistant, she isn't funny but it adds a serious aspect to the movie, a very small one though! Being a comedy there aren't much special effects needed, but there is some average one's to show the magic. You can tell this movie was made just for fun, not for critics. It is very fun so it achieved what it needed to, 9 out of 10!

Dominic Toretto and Luke Hobbs are forced to reassemble their team to fight a russian terrorist. Dom finds out that his ex girlfriend has turned bad and needs to save her and stop a major crime being committed. Vin Diesel's character is going through an emotional time and he shows it well, but the problem with Vin is his voice is so deep you can barely tell what he is saying. Also the script makes his character really... weirdly typical. He may as well say, "I'm dead, no, I'm alive, now kiss me!" Paul Walker is a good actor, but the plot for his character is very stupid! He makes a decision that the script writers make a massive deal out of it, the decision is also stupid and has no logic.  But the way he gets out of the problem that his stupid decision created, makes you think, 1. What on earth was the point in that?! 2. Why on earth did the did the scriptwriters make such a big deal out of it and then make the character solve the problem by  bashing a couple of poorly trained guards, 3. Why the heck would you do that?! Just a stupid decision that makes you think bad things about the character that use to be a favourite! Dwayne Johnsons character doesn't do anything except for point guns at people, he doesn't act, he just does stunts. The special effects are great, however the special effects are nowhere near as good as some other movies like "The Avengers". Even though they get the job done and have things like fires and explosions to show them off.If the budget for this movie was $1 lower, the special effects wouldn't get over the line. The script is only good when people are making witty trash talk comments, when they're not, you can tell the scriptwriters tried hard to make it sound like the characters actually cared about what was happening, but the humour in such dark situations just ruins that. A race which is essential to the story is ruined by a massive editing error, they're doing a street race with cops behind them and instead of completing they pull over and the cops somehow disappear, conflict solved with no solution. So many characters, each have such a hort amount on screen, some of which are peoples favourites. Unfortunately each scene feels like a mini movie, each one starring a character each, like the "Avengers" franchise, they build up to the final movie in that phase of the franchise, however Fast and Furious 6 seems like they tried to do all that in one movie, not a good idea. All of it isn't terrible but nowhere near good, some editing errors and terrible plot, 5 out of 10, but huge fans of Fast and Furious would be pleased.

Jack the Giant Slayer is about Jack, a farm boy. It starts off with a tale explained through unique animations, here is the tale, the same beans that Jack has, created a massive beanstalk that aloud giants that lived in between earth and heaven to climb down and destroy mankind. A prince forged a crown that could control the giants, then he locked it away once the humans won the war. Bryan Singers much darker take on the classic fairytale Jack and the Beanstalk is both good and bad in many ways. First off the start is totally CG, overdoing CG is easy to do but Singer used them well by making them not realistic,(still 3D though) this way the whole movie could be like this and it wouldn't be an overdose. The bad thing about the start is that it leaves you thinking, if you need the crown to control them and they would come back if you weren't controlling them, why would you lock it away, you can't control them if you're not wearing it. Also, how come the giants had to come down the beanstalk, how come one of the giants just jumped down to earth without climbing down the stalk. The acting is average, nothing special. Nicholas Hoult plays Jack, you can tell that he is expressing emotions to the camera but you don't know what he is thinking at first, is he scared? No, he's sad! Wait, I got it, oh, I don't. Jak is an emotional puzzle waiting to be solved! Ewan Mcgregor plays the cheesily funny Elmont. Every time he appears on screen you know that some butt is going to be kicked. The enormous fires, flying rocks and the beanstalk use the special effects pretty well, not fantastically, but all right. There is a violent game of tug of war between the giants and the humans that is lots of fun. There is a hilarious yet gruesome death at the end that goes something like this, "Burp (5 second pause) Boom!" It doesn't sound too funny but when you watch it you'll have a bit of a giggle. Everything about this movie is average and the title reveals the whole movie! 6 out of 10.  Slightly amusing.

We're off to see the sequel, the sequel to "The Wizard of Oz"! The sequel to "The Wizard of Oz" is for everyone as it fits into genres action, adventure, comedy, romance and fantasy. In 1905 Kansas, Oscar Diggs sets off on an epic adventure to become the wizard of Oz. Given that it's based on its own mythology, it has an original storyline. There are also lots of twists and turns. There are some spectacular visual effects, sometimes you can tell that the directors purposely made the special effects look old to make fans have glorious flash backs to the first movie. The way the movie merges from black and white to colour is wonderfully clever. The sound effects are state of the art, they're so clear and pure! James Franco was able to show off his amazing acting abilities due to the clever directing and scriptwriting. His character is not black and white, there's many layers of him to explore. The forest that Oscar Diggs lands in looks stunning, just stunning. Pausing your TV just to see it is a necessary precaution! It's about time we get to see "The Emerald City" in HD! Oz the Great and Powerful is suitable for all ages and is incredibly entertaining, 8.5 out of 10.

The "Die Hard" series is great, each one with a unique storyline and some witty humour. A Good Day to Die Hard is nothing like that. When John McLane meets his son in Russia they team up to fight bad guys and try to fix their relationship, this storyline has been done to death! Die Hard 4 had terrorism, but it wasn't plain old blowing things up, it was hacking and disabling. If this movie went for longer then ninety-eight minutes (which it didn't) it would've been even worse due to all the boring scenes where they tried to squeeze some humour in, the humour was so bad! The action was always boring shooting, however there were some scenes where people were going through construction pipes and things like that which was quite easily the best bit in the movie, however it did have one massive downside. The jumping through construction sites was fun to watch because it was un-realistic and cinematic, but then, it became the most un-realistic movie in history. The special effects were good and the tear gas and explosions used that pretty well, however the explosions happened so often that you just get sick of them and the tear gas was used for five seconds in the whole movie. Bruce Willis could've been much better in this movie if it wasn't for the cheesy scriptwriting and the amount of times the same thing happened over and over again. Willis lifted this movie dramatically, but the script stopped him from being able to save it entirely. Repetitive, not funny at all, un-realistic,boring, not unique and one of the worst scripts ever, A Good Day to Die Hard scores a 4 out of 10.

One of the best bits in watching suspense movies these days is watching the storyline un-ravel and thinking, "Oh, wow, that's some clever directing!" Steven Spielberg does just that in his unique movie, "Minority Report". John Anderton works for what could definitely be called a crime fighting organisation. Being set in the future, Spielberg could use his amazing imagination in creating tons of cool gadgets. One of them is a detective tool that is motion controlled, this takes a major part in the movie. The visual effects are not great, however it was made during 2002, back then it would've been state of the art. The sound effects definitely could've been better, one of Spielberg's unique gadgets was a wind up gun that shot some type of force, it made a very cool noise that would've been great if it was a bit more clear. You'd think that with jet packs, floating cars and sound guns the special effects would've been great, but they weren't. Tom Cruise is excellent as emotion filled John Anderton. He plays a confident, daring man. He then becomes less confident and more disturbed and unstable due to his frequent flashbacks, but then he goes back to what he was like at the start. A very unique storyline with some great gadgets, scriptwriting and acting, however the special effects brought it halfway back down to earth, 9 out of 10.

Steve Carrell's "Despicable Me" is now one of the greats in animated movies, now it gets a sequel, "Despicable Me 2". It looks great.  Judging by the trailer, Steve Carell is as funny as usual. The minions are clumsy as ever and the animations look fascinating! There is some hilarious action that's not too over the top, otherwise it wouldn't be a kid movie. As usual, Gru is evil but someone is doing better than Gru in the world of evil. Get excited for another fascinating animated kids movies! "Despicable Me 2" hits cinemas July 3!

Let's hope that Monsters University doesn't ruin the first film because it was a classic. Given that it's a prequel it should be an original storyline. It looks great so! The animations are look even better than the first movie. It also will featuremore characters than Monsters Inc, and Mike looks cute! That's all that matters! Monsters University hits cinemas June 20 2013!

DC must have a lot of cash coming in, they've got Justice League: Flashpoint Paradox, Man of Steel and a brand new, computer animated Batman series all coming out within two months! Beware the Batman is the new Batman TV show, it will air it's first episode sometime in July 2013! It was going to come out earlier but people said that the guns looked too realistic for a kids show so the animators had to animate the guns all over again! It is meant to be based more on the detective side of Batman which should be good! Batman will fight alongside Katana and Alfred. But Alfred is an old man, he can't fight crime and he uses guns, Batman doesn't allow guns to be used by him or his team! Hopefully this doesn't bring the show to its knees! There isn't going to be voice acted by anyone that's legendary to the Batman universe, no Kevin Conroy or Mark Hammil! There is going to be some lesser known Batman villains like Mr Toad and Professor Pyg! The animations look great! Even though not many people online are saying good things about the show, it's something to get excited about, it's Batman! Who isn't going to be excited! Stay Tuned for "The Latest News!"

Meet Aaron Cross, a man who's life or death state has been triggered by the events of the first 3  movies. The first 3 movies in The Bourne seemed different to this 1, this 1 seems more like a blockbuster because there is more unique action, like stuffing a pin in a fire extinguisher and using it as a weapon and this character has a much stronger fighting technique, Jason Bourne uses more light attacks where as Aaron Cross uses heavy attacks. There is also a more original storyline. The visual effects were excellent, they were put to the test with wolves, open cities, flames and the gunshots seemed more realistic than the first 3 movies, mostly because of the great sound effects. Jeremy Renner was born for this role. He suits it incredibly and his character is great and would be difficult to act as. Ed Norton seems to play angry people from action movies very well, The Incredible Hulk was great for him and now he is Retired Colonel Eric Byer who makes the decisions about how to take Aaron out and most of the time is angry with his workers. This movie tied the first 3 together really well, is suspenseful, has great action and special effects and a killer cast, 9 out of 10. That means the 4 Bourne movies get an 18 out of a possible 20!

On top of Marvel's recent TV show, Avengers Assemble, they've released a brand new trailer for their cinematic universe based show, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D! It stars Clark Gregg who plays Agent Coulson in The Avengers, who supposedly died. But earlier on in the movie Tony Stark referred to a life model decoy, if S.H.I.E.L.D agents have to face a threat too big for them, they send a life model decoy in. Obviously it's based in the Marvel cinematic universe and will have some witty humour and the amazing action and special effects just like in the movies! It will make it's debut on the first Tuesday of fall for America and a bit later for Australia! Stay Tuned for "The Latest News!"

Jack Reacher is an amazing crime movie about ex-soldier that is on the run.  Tom Cruise does an amazing job playing cool, mysterious and humorous Jack Reacher, who's role was made for Tom Cruise, Tom Cruise was perfect in this! Rosamund Pike does a great job but even though her character was 1 of the mains, the character didn't really do much except for be a modern day Princess Peach. The visual effects were decent but because it is a crime/thriller movie they weren't put to use very well, the gunshots used the sound effects very well and showed off the visual effects, not spectacularly but it was without a doubt the best use of visual effects in the film. The action is tremendous! There is awesome shoot outs, epic hand to hand combat and a great car chase. In all this they still managed to squeeze some Tom Cruise styled humour into it. This, being an adaption to a book would have been very hard to do, but he producers, directors, scriptwriters and pretty much everyone else that took part in making this movie nailed it! There is a ton of tension and suspence, great acting and some pretty good special effects. 8 out of 10.

J.J Abrams took a massive risk when making this Star Trek movie, with threats from the fans saying that if he stuffed Star Trek up, they'd say no more Star Trek movies. J.J Abrams did the exact opposite of stuffing it up. On a mission to stop a volcano erupting, Spock falls into the volcano and puts a bomb in, not caring about his death.A great start to the movie! Every character learns a lesson. Even though Star Trek is about philosophical questions the action dominated here. It was epic, fights on flying machines, massive spaceships and enormous explosions. It doesn't get too dark thanks to the witty humour but the awesome music adds suspense. The acting just worked, it flowed. The roles were perfect. What makes these great things come to life are the great visual and sound effects, there is a spaceship that crashes on earth that looks as big as Mars and it still looks realistic! There also little things for Star Trek fans to pick up on like a reference to Star Trek Voyager, Leonard Nimoy and iconic camera shots. This movie just worked, there was nothing wrong with it at all, 9.5 out of 10.

In 2015, a Ratchet and Clank movie will be released! Stay tuned for "The Latest News!"

The Bourne Identity, Supremacy and Ultimatum are all linked so there will only be a separate review for The Bourne Legacy and The Bourne Conspiracy.

Jason Bourne is an amnesiac $30 million dollar government weapon that can no longer be trusted and is on the top of the most wanted list. He goes all over the world escaping the government and their super soldiers, also known as the Treadstone soldiers! The visual effects were great but there was nothing to show them off. The sound effects were great and were shown off with all of the gunshots. This movie is just so suspenseful and action packed that it has you on the edge of your seat for all the movies. Matt Damon did a great job in this. It's so action packed that you'd think the acting doesn't matter but Matt Damon takes it one step higher, he just suited the role. The first three Bourne movies score a 9 out of 10.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 hits cinemas May 2 2014! Rhino and Electro will be teaming up, looks like there's going to be a lot of collateral damage! The first picture of Electro was released recently. Stay tune for "The Latest news!"

Guardians of the Galaxy hits cinemas August 1 2014! Rumour has it that Thanos will be the villain, Thanos was confirmed in the mid-credits scene of the Avengers to appear somewhere in the Marvel cinematic universe, maybe he will appear in two movies like Loki did in Thor and The Avengers! Stay tuned for "The Latest news!"

Robert Downey Jr is back with dozens of new armours! He faces a villain that not only terrorises America, but also terrorises Tony’s personal life and the ones he loves most. This movie takes things from the comics, extremis, Roxxon oil, A.I.M, Iron Legion, Iron Patriot and The Mandarin,(Ben Kinglsey). Ben Kingsley was hilarious, mysterious and a bit pointless which was a bit of a disappointment. As soon as A.I.M was mentioned I thought that M.O.D.O.K was going to be the villain but thankfully he didn’t appear. Due to legal rights Norman Osborn couldn’t appear as Iron Patriot as he does in the comics as leader of The Dark Avengers, Sony owns all Spiderman characters for movies. The scenes with Don Cheadle as War Machine/Iron Patriot were better than Downey Jr’s! Guy Pearce did an excellent job at playing both a geek and a wealthy businessman, Aldrich Killian. Gwyneth Paltrow did a good job at playing Pepper Potts and keeping Tony in line.

As in all Marvel movies the visual effects were amazing, but this movie bared a resemblance, easter eggs! This allows you to focus on the movie and not the easter eggs.

Marvel has done a great job in movies and this was a different style of movie, much darker but still with the cheesy humour.  9/10, there wasn’t one bit that can disliked but some scenes were so good that the others couldn’t keep up with, like the amazing action sequence at the end that marvel always does.
